The 17th edition of the African American Business Directory (AABD) is completed, 15,000 copies have been printed and largely distributed, and a PDF version of it is available on the BDDTF web site. A searchable version of the directory is also available for you to use. If your business is listed in the 17th edition you can find it at www.blackdollar.org on the home page click on AABD.

Copies of this valuable community resource are available in churches, community centers, libraries, Beauty & barbershops, grocery stores, restaurants and you may pick one up at all times at 116-21st Ave. in Seattle. This directory is a priceless tool to over 15,000 consumers seeking the services and products that businesses provide in the Greater Seattle, Tacoma, Lacey/Olympia, Vancouver and Portland areas

We want to thank all the sponsors of the 17th edition. Your support makes the production of this directory possible. As a sponsor your corporation/organization is visible to a wider range of people in many communities, and is recognized for supporting African American businesses. In return, these businesses are encouraged to utilize your resources. We don’t yet make a profit, but when we do, we will actively use the proceeds to aid small businesses that are having financial problems.

We also want to thank all of the businesses and churches that bought a listing or an ad. You really made this directory what it is today by advertising in it. Please tell your friends, neighbors, people you network with and all you know about the directory. We definitely don’t want those that did not get in the 17th edition to be left out of this 18th edition. The advertising prices are affordable for any budget. They range from only $50 to $600. A rate sheet is available in pdf format below, and you can also pay online by clicking on the “paypal” logo.

The AABD Board of Directors would like to expand this directory to more cities and states. If anyone would like to assist with this effort please contact us.

The 18th edition material deadline is September 5, 2008. All ad space must be reserved by August 15, 2008. If you send your information and payment in by July 15th you can receive a 5% discount. If you send it in after the material deadline has passed, a 5% late charge will be applied. Send your material and order form to:
